Each week, your child will bring home a special project they'll be proud of! Endorsed by schools and occupational therapists, this is the perfect after-school activity to spark imagination and confidence.
Curiosity-led weekly creative crafting classes where kids boost their confidence in a non-competitive environment while having tons of fun.
Culinary Skills Workshop (Ages 12+)
Embark on a culinary journey designed specifically for young chefs aged 12 and up. Our Kids Culinary Skills Workshop offers an intimate, hands-on cooking experience in small groups of no more than six participants. During this four-hour session, students will gain essential cooking skills that will serve them for life, preparing meals and treats tailored to their dietary and medical needs.
Each class involves:
Recipe Reading and Adaptation: Students start by reading a recipe and learning
to understand its components and instructions. They then explore ways to
modify recipes to accommodate specific dietary requirements or preferences,
fostering creativity and flexibility in cooking.
Hands-On Cooking Experience:
Under the guidance of experienced instructors, students cook a meal from start
to finish, applying practical skills in measuring, timing, and the use of
various kitchen tools and appliances.
Group Meal:
The session culminates in a group meal, where students sit together to enjoy
the food they’ve cooked, discussing their experience and sharing insights.

Weekly Laser Design and Jewellery Making Workshop
Located in the picturesque setting of Sassafras, our Engraved Artistry workshop offers a unique opportunity for individuals and small groups (up to six participants) of all ages to delve into the world of laser cutting and jewellery design. Using the Emblaser 2 laser and LightBurn software, participants transform their creative visions into tangible art pieces in a supportive and engaging environment.
Laser Cutting Mastery:
Participants learn to operate the Emblaser 2 laser cutter and navigate the LightBurn program, transforming original drawings into intricate wooden pieces.
Diverse Crafting Options: Beyond jewellery, younger children can see their drawings turn into fun puzzles or games, catering to different interests and skill levels.
From Concept to Market: Participants are given the opportunity to further work with their creations by turning them into earrings, necklaces, art pieces, or marketable products such as puzzles and games. This includes using a combination of the lasered piece, resin, and various artistic materials.
